Sohail Khan, the owner of Mumbai Heroes —Bollywood’s cricket team — promises a nail-biting thriller when tinseltown’s stars take on the Tamil film industry’s best known names for an exciting match set to be played at Vizag tomorrow.
For those who cannot travel there to see your favourite stars battle it out on the field, we have good news. The match will be aired live from 7 pm onwards on Sahara One.Sohail's team is being led by Suniel Shetty and has three added attractions. Salman Khan is the icon player while the sexy Sonakshi Sinha and the bubbly Genelia D’Souza are the brand ambassadors.
Salman tells BT, “I just hope that we all play our best and may the best team win. After the two matches that we lost, I think the boys have taken it very seriously and are practising a lot.” He also sounds a warning bell to the Chennai team. “Don’t underestimate three things — My Team, My Team, My Team.”
Proud owner, Sohail, says his team is ready to bounce back. “We are just a month-old team. We playing against the south teams and they have been playing since five years now. Suniel Shetty, our captain is the pillar of the team. We all need to blindly follow him and go for the kill.”
The captain certainly has a plan as is looking forward to humbling Chennai. Suniel says, “We are ready to take charge.”
